How can you use essential oils?

Here you find information on how you can use essential oils.

Using oils for massage

You should use one of the following oils as a base oil; Almond oil, Apricot oil, Arnica oil, Avocado oil, Calendula oil, Coconut oil, Hazelnut oil, Jojoba oil, Olive oil, Sunflower oil, Wheatgerm oil. Almond oil is one of the most used oils as base in massage oil. It is light and smells almost nothing. It has vitamin A, B1, B2, B6 and little of vitamin E. When blending oil for massage you should use about 10ml (two teaspoons) of baseoil together with 4-6 drops of essential oil. If you make large quantities make sure to use a bottle with dark coloured glass or keep the bottle in a dark cool place. You can use distilled water instead of baseoil together with essential oil. Then you get a lighter mixture that is not as oily.
